CUPULA CIRCUS VILLAGE FESTIVAL
13 - 15 of September, Arcozelo, Vila Nova de Gaia
THE SUMMIT IS RETURNING AND AGAIN TRANSFORMING ARCOZELO
INTO A CIRCUS VILLAGE
Video recap of last year's edition.
The first Circus Village in Portugal returns to the seaside, next to the Arcozelo boardwalks, from September 13 to 15. The Cupula Circus Village Festival, dedicated to contemporary circus, is organized by INAC – the National Institute of Circus Arts, in partnership with the Arcozelo Parish Council.
Featuring shows, masterclasses, circus workshops for families, street performances, musical moments, circus school exchanges, a conference, and an exhibition, there are plenty of reasons to visit this parish in Vila Nova de Gaia. All activities are free of charge.
The program focuses on presenting circus performances in tents and alternative stages throughout the village, where the main audience development activities will take place. During the festival, Arcozelo transforms into a cultural and artistic hub offering a diverse range of contemporary circus arts.
INAC is a platform dedicated exclusively to contemporary circus in Portugal, working in the areas of training, residencies, creation, programming, and social inclusion.
